For what it's worth, I don't know either of these guys , but both were kind enough to spare some time (As well as quite a few others I might add) to give me what I believe to be genuine advice.

I am a newcomer here, but reading their posts, along with most other forumites, has sparked a real resurgence in my interest & appetite in cuesports for me, so it is a real shame that there is some bad feeling on here.

I am a poster on quite a few forums and until now, this has been by far the most pleasant & constructive forum I have been a part of.

This is a really good forum guys, we will all have disagreements from time to time, don't bear grudges and don't spoil the unique environment you have created.

In a fairly harmless manner if you ask me...
Ya, I will second that. Cally is a stand up guy and willing to help out other members here. He helped me recently for a cue sale where I nearly got fleeced and he was one of the first to put his neck on the line and helped to get it sorted (with other members).

How about Cally and ADR147 just get it all sorted out on the snooker table? Best of 7 maybe for infinite bragging rights? Taking side bets now

I have used coutts oil on saturday. Leaves a lovely finish very smooth and seems to bring out grain just a little darker, better than linseed oil on its own imho. Not tried mw oil leo but would recommend coutts.
