Where did you get this cue and can I ask how much you paid?
Can we have pictures of the shaft and tip as well please.
    Is it straight?
    cheers
Probably with a sense of nostalgia too.

    Nice avatar...

Nostalgia - I am sure, yes.

[I thought I would join the club and had a little play I love yours and would also have a Snoopy or Woodstock one if they just were not so common ]

They're amongst my all-time favourite cartoon characters... but yes, a tad too common though... will probably change it after another few more posts.

            Off subject I know but:
Recently, a colleague at work found two videos in a box at his house, Bon Voyage Charlie Brown (and don't come back) and Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown, he lent me them and I watched them with my young children and we are still laughing now!

my cue is 98% striate with a lovely looking shaft 10mm tip . and plays fab a very nice hit on the ball . i bought the cue from a elderly man who has had the cue in his wardrobe for years and years . thanks

If just slightly kinked at the tip end, due to being lent on the tip in the wardrobe, you may be able to get the kink out by leaning it in the opposite direction for a short time. I did this with an old Cannon a friend had, worked quite well and did not take too long, within a week.

ok thanks . the kink dose not affect the play of the cue as it is striate to the line of sight . i am very happy to have it

Just had an email from a friend linking to this thread.

This may or may not be a cue I made, I can't tell.

Yes, around 20 years ago when I first began making a few cues, I did make a very limited number with brass name plates, and was asked to engrave them as this one is. This one looks as though it's been re-fitted at some point, and doesn't look in the best shape, so it's just not possible to tell what has happened to it over that time.

As I've pointed out above, I can't say whether this is a cue I made or not for sure. It just isn't 100% possible to do that.

However, if it is something I did, then it was a very early effort, and no, I would not be embarassed by that. By comparison, I would be far more embarassed by the advice you've provided in post 23 on how to remedy a bend in a cue. Each to their own though eh.

It is cool to see one of your early work. Must be very special to own one of those as only a few were made.

as previously mentioned the comment was very much tongue in check.
Can I ask how you deal with cues with a kink a little way down from the tip?
                                Any advice gratefully received
