hi lads we have talked about the preferance of thin butts ie 27mm and less,is there anybody who preferes a thicker butt ie 31mm + and if so is it because your a big bloke and prob got big hands

I always thought i liked a bigger butt until the last cue i bought has a far slimmer butt and much prefer it .

Very much a what your used to thing isnt it really.

I tried my mate's JP Traditional and thought the butt was huge at 30mm, my current cue is 28.5mm. Didnt like it much but then i wouldnt as its different.

My cue is a 29.5mm butt, which I feel is perfect. Dad's Cannon Match cue has a 32mm butt. This feels huge. He isn't a big guy though, about average, so I think it is just what you're used to.

And yes, god help this thread once Mike and JRC get hold of it!!

Being serious, I always liked a 30mm butt and still do but the preference is definitely for a slimmer 29mm butt these days.
