I bought these tips on ebay as a batch few months ago, tried them. Decided their not for me.

Anyone wants to try them, I will post for £1.

I have 8 x 11mm black base.

I presume you still need to flat the bottom on sandpaper but obviouslt not take all the black off? Also trimming is still ok?

The bottom is pretty flat anyway but you could give it one go over sand paper to rough it up.

I only ever fitted it to a 11mm cue so not sure how it trims.

When you tried them did it need playing in at all, any mushrooming?

I only played uk pool with it in end, I tried 2 tips, one a 11mm and one 9mm (Robin cook fitted it) and I didnt like them.

Found them bit lifeless in a direct comparison to a cue which had a MW supertip on it. I couldnt comment on whether they needed knocking in as only used it for half hour or so.

I wouldnt put it on before a coaching session. Do you have a spare cue you could put it on?

I'll stick one on on saturday before a long session. Can always put my old Elk back on if its nasty!
