Mastercue is one of the more reputable cuemakers in Thailand and many snooker/pool players use them as they offer great value.
Most stockists have many Mastercues in stock so I would recommend that you get down to see one of them and try them out for yourself and see which cue will suit you most. Each mastercue will feel slightly different as wood is a natural product and each shaft can have different responses and feel.
Good luck in fnding the right cue

I've had good experiences with them. They make good cues too, nice balance and smooth finish.
Even got them to make me a custom American pool cue. Nicely done.
It's a popular brand and as what Sootyvrs said, great value for money... worthwhile to check it out...When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back. GET MAD!!

I've got a Mastercue Ultimate. The cue itself is beautiful, a really good playing cue. Unfortunately I can't get on with it as it is Maple (I brought it to try maple out while my cue was being repaired) so will be selling it in the near future.
The quality and finish of the cue is incredible though, it is just a shame I can't get used to a maple cue.
If you get one I can't see you being disappointed. If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

I've used an ash cue from when I started playing, and always have the grain lines facing up so they are visible to my feathering. As there is very little grain on a maple cue, I feel lost not seeing them. It's a silly thing, but I don't know I'm cueing up straight without them, that's all. It ends up with me doubting myself. If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!
