i agree with jason i dont use enuf full stops,and also with alot he said,i personly have spent more money with tsf members than i have made on cues only made about 3 to order one i swopped for an old cue ,the last one came back which i virtually gave away , rest were crap as mike says lol

i know this is getting boring but...

i just had a (yet another) long conversation with dan.

first, at the risk of repeating myself, i have tried everything i possibly can to get dan to do something. i want people to be clear about this. but to date, no joy.

however, the good news is that he is very positive at the moment and wants me to convey the message that he has absolutely not given up.

in fact he is very upbeat and looking forward to fulfilling his obligations. strange as that may seem given the lack of communication/effort...

i cannot pass on anything more positive than that because the current issue is that he has nowhere to do the actual work. the plan of using a workshop at his parents has not panned out but he is actively seeking somewhere suitable.

so, nothing has actually changed and i'm afraid you all simply have to give him more time.

i fully understand the threats of legal action but, seriously, you cannot get blood out of a stone. the boy is broke.

so hang in there cos i'm still onboard and will help him bang these out as soon as is possible.

best i can say to help ease the pain folks...

For those still owed money by Dan for cues not received, this is for you.

You have two options;

1. Group together and take legal action through the small claims court.
2. Do the same as above but individually.

I mailed Dan over 6 weeks ago and had no reply so this is your next course of action, it seems that Dan no longer lives at the address everybody has so you would have to direct any communications through his place of business.

Anybody needing his work address please contact me via PM and I will give it to you, I am sure as soon as he starts receiving letters from the courts and solicitors at his work place he will start getting back to you all with offers of repayment.

I have already tried that. I sent a letter of intent to his works address recorded delivery but it wS returned to me as addresse gone away. If anyone has an alternate address for him or a family member then i will resend it. Iv decided to pursue it now out of principal since he hasnt had the courtesy to respond to anyone.

I would be very careful about offering to divulge home or work addresses or suggesting violence or retribution is needed as if something is instigated from here and got out of control...

It's just a cue, from what I've read it's been a long while and all that could be gained if he is broke is to add a black mark to a black record at your cost which is like throwing good money after bad.

If he ever started making cues again, that would be the time to call in old debts, imo.

Better get in contact with the others and pool resources I think. A lot of people are thinking it's only one cue but how many people have been done this way? I look at how many views each thread gets here and it's obviously exposed to rip-offs like this one.

I dont think rip offed is how people feel. Probably more dissapointed im guessing. Iv decided not to pursue this further as was rightly pointed out my couple of hundred quid is probably the least of his concerns and me f@&cking him over court wont help anyone.. I just hope the faith that mike and others put in him is not misplaced and that he does his best to make good on his commitments. If he does read this an email to his customers giving his position would go some way to sorting this situation out and restoring a bit of faith and pride.
