Ah well may wait until after the new year and see how things are then.

There's a thread here from someone who bought one
http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...-new-Dunns-cue.
I have read some people not so happy also about Dunns and I suspect that they set expectations too high re. craftsmanship but at that price you won't get premium cue quality e.g. Trevor White, Mike Wooldridge, Robin Cooke, John Parris Ultimate etc..
Then again if you look at Hendrys original cue, that certainly was not perfect quality so perhaps this replica is more fitting to the description

John Parris also has a version of this cue which can be seen here

Not sure what butt wood the original one was but the JP & cheaper Dunns use Rosewood. The bottom of the TW one is Cocobola woodLast edited by sootyvrs; 22 November 2011, 10:33 AM.

Dunns cues use to use ebony as this was one of the first things I ever looked at when I started,

if you look at the authentication page and the G's, you will see various ones.

The one thing I really like about dunns-cues website is the gallery content.

You might as well save a little more and get one off Trevor White. I'm not knocking other makers here, but I've played with a few cues and I've never seen cues as good as Trevors'. I've just had mine made and in my opinion is the best option (but that is just my opinion). Happy hunting!!!

I have seen many beautiful Hendry cues made by Trevor on this forum. But I dont believe you can get one made to your spec for 300-350.
Perhaps unclevit is a good choice, but Thai is flooded now so may be he cannot do anything for you at this moment.
I saw some nice Thai cues on the Craftsman site that are quite nice. have you checked that out?
