  • Can anyone help identify/give me some more info on these cues?

These cues have been left as rack cues at the golf club where i am the pro at as the previous owners have passed away. I think they could possibly hold some value but i'm not too sure. I'm not at all familiar with the makers names, if anyone can help me out with any info on the makers or values i'd be very greatfull!

The Empire Match Cue - Thos. and sons Padmore Birmingham 16.5 oz

W.A Camkin James Watts Birmingham billiards ltd 15.5oz

The camkin and James Watts cue has the slimmest butt i have ever seen, i don't unfortunately have any measuring equipment to give the exact size but it is very small!

    cheers

I would say that the Padmore cue is early 1930s. I have not actually seen them advertising an "Empire match cue" before, so that's a first for me. This style of "Padmore" logo was introduced in 1928, the "& Sons" first appearing above the name, and later below it.

The Burnley Billiards cue I would date as late 1930s. The image is not too clear, but the lower line should read "James Watt St.," which was Camkin's address from about 1935.

Others will have better idea of value.
