HI im new to this site, i purchased a new cue other day and its abit thicker than my old one, i want to know how to make it thinner (the shaft) because i carnt get used to it?

The only way is by sandpaper, which is not advisable to do yourself unless you know what your doing, whereabouts in the Country are you ?? as it would be best to take to a cuemaker to do it for you, its called "re-tapering" and doesn't cost a fortune

Any cue maker would be able to retaper the cue for you for not too much money. Please note that this will make the cue lighter so if you want the same weight, it would be extra for the cue maker to add the weight back in.
