Sup guys,
I posted a couple of weeks ago about retapering a cue from a 10mm ferrule to a 7/8mm ferrule and I am please to say I have just completed doing it on the first of my 'good' cues and I am really pleased with the result so thanks for all your help!
Next step would be finishing the cue. Obviously because I sanded it down to 8mm it has no finish now and looks dull and not very nice so how do I got about getting that nice finished look that new cues always have?
They all look varnished but my assumption is that varnish would make for a very sticky cue which would be no good!
I know thefinal part will be waxing the shaft but what comes before that!
Any tips greatly appreciated!
