ive just had to go way over top for a trev ext and minibutt on ebay,i know you will say i didnt have to but trevs stuff etx etc are like rocking horse **** and you cant get the old joints to do your own i know i asked lol

I saw them on ebay earlier, loads of money as you say. Does seem strange that they are so hard to get hold of.

The joints look very similar to Mastercrafts, prehaps ADR could try and confirm if one fits t'other.

I know Parris joints look similar aswell but the male is too thick to go in the mastercraft female. Trev's female has a bigger hole thats looks exactly the same as Mastercrafts.

    Stop sniggering at the back!!

For the money i would personally send it to Mastercraft and get him to swap out the joint for one of his. Or any of the makers that have extentions in stock for that matter.

I sold the cue and kept hold of the ext's for my next trev cue...

and shortly after, trev changed his joints so i had to sell them as they were no good for my new cue...D'oh.

And never ordered a new set with my cue so will be without extensions again when i get my new one. which shouldnt be long now...

Silly question im sure, but did you try Trevor? I got a refund for the extensions I was buying for it, but from Trevor's reply it suggested he had both old and new available?

I just looked at ebay, doesn't seem as if you paid over the top Jim ??? Bet they were still cheaper than new, and look at the prices of the ones he sold at beginning of month (maybe they fell thro ?)

Oh. looking at what they sold for that's cheap compared to waht they were fetching a couple months back.

30 quid delivered is not bad, and no way way to much for a mini really...

I sold it for a little more than that i think...

I asked John Parris the same thing but he wouldn't sell me any

I had a cheap cue and mini butt which fitted my Parris butt perfectly, so I took the cheap joint out, got some lovely African black wood and turned my own.
