Mine's a Maple Legend but of an extreme spec with the new lightweight joints!

Dont see "the Cue Man" very often these days--a very well aged Mike Wooldridge cue....that looks like a butterfly spliced to me but in the listing it says hand spliced.

nope. the pressure part is actually getting them done and out.

no pressure on quality. i know they're perfect.

lol. yes. the original cueman...

very old. probably 20+ years. i only did a few of them just as an experiment at the time. pretty much threw them together but turned out nice playing cues.

butterfly spliced/hand spliced. no difference really apart from end appearance. made by hand using same tools so i personally do not view them any different from full 'hand' spliced cues. just easier to make.

you can of course mass produce butterfly spliced and 'machine' spliced cues but i don't, so they're hand made.
