  • My New MASTERCRAFT CUE review

I just took delivery on my new mastercraft black prince cue. Standard length and tip, centre joint . I played 6 games with it today. My first impression out of the box was WOW!!.. The look and finish of it and the grain is exquisite. Its a thing of beauty. The cue plays beautifully, solid feel and confidence inspiring. The 6 inch mini butt was nice to have as I used it many times. I am very pleased with the service from mastercraft and would highly recommend their cues to anyone. I researched cue makers for 6 months before I decided on mastercraft and I am glad I chose them. Value for the money would be hard to match elsewhere. Not sure how to post photos.[IMG][/IMG]

    hi drzdave
glad you also have had a result with Mastercraft but unfortuantely you picture does not show, now you have 10 posts you should now be able to attach images, or you can link to photobucket or something like that.
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Is that a lightweight joint of some sort? I thought it was a hidden joint for a moment there but looks like it does have full faces. Would you mind sharing weight, length and balance point?

Please let us know how the centre joint preforms.

Its a full face centre joint..quick release....Feels smooth and solid on impact...I like it...I got the cue standard length, tip 9.5 at 18oz weight....not sure of the balance point

Very nice, very straight grain. Seems like Mastercraft really are giving the top cue makers a real good run for their money.

Thanks for the pic. Is the pin and face all of brass? Or is the pin of a silvery alloy? The reason I ask is that I've seen something like this on a 17oz 2pce powerglide and the cue was beautifully balanced for a 2 pce of that weight. It hits really well for uk pool (smaller white) but that particular cue vibrates when playing snooker. Wonder if Mastercraft are using same or similar, might be worth giving them a try myself.

I would say the joint is all brass...feels very solid...the workmanship of the joint is superb in my opinion..

Can you put a deposit on a mastecraft custom cue or have you got to pay up front .
