    wasn't the case with the cue I ordered a month or so ago. Then again had no qualms in paying the full amount straight away. I mean if you're going to the trouble of asking for a cue to be made you should at least have the dough to hand.

        Well sometimes you aint always got the bananas ready and its nice too have a little time to get the money ready , I,ve done this with a few cues off cue makers and think its a good idea .

          Fair enough. Its just that with mastercraft and one or two others you aren't waiting months so therefore you'll need the cash pretty much straight away anyway. I can understand paying a deposit for a Trev or Parris as you know you are in for the long haul.

            I suppose it depends on who you are I've have had three cues from Dave and I suppose he has me on file a reliable customer. He had already started making my cue before we even mention money. I offered a deposit and he never got back to me in the end I paid the full amount on completion but like I said Dave knows me so there is a bit of trust. I would imagine a new customer would and should expect to pay some deposit.

              Can someone please confirm with me if Mastercraft is closed for the festive holidays and when will they be open? I have been trying to get in touch with Dave but have yet to receive a reply. Your kind help is very much appreciated. Thanks

                I suspect they were closed over xmas...have you just emailed or have you tried to call?
