wasn't the case with the cue I ordered a month or so ago. Then again had no qualms in paying the full amount straight away. I mean if you're going to the trouble of asking for a cue to be made you should at least have the dough to hand.

I suppose it depends on who you are I've have had three cues from Dave and I suppose he has me on file a reliable customer. He had already started making my cue before we even mention money. I offered a deposit and he never got back to me in the end I paid the full amount on completion but like I said Dave knows me so there is a bit of trust. I would imagine a new customer would and should expect to pay some deposit.
