Thanks for sharing. I do like the look of the butt splices.

Is he sponsered by Acuerate or does he just use them as a preference to other cue makers?

Is that his actual cue or just the model of cue he is now using?

Noticed looking at the Acuerate website how they are promoting the Low Deflection concept for their cues using a small tip diameter e.g. 9.25mm for low deflection and 8.75mm for ultra low defection.

I know this technology is in use in US pool e.g. Predator low deflection shafts but haven't really hit the snooker cue making world as yet. I know the US low deflection pool cues are drilled in the tip end of the shaft to give it less mass at the tip end so I wonder if Acuerate are doing this also?

Looks to be using one of those "air lock" joints that just makes a sort of popping sound when taking the cue apart. Not a fan of those =/

                    Yellow,
I remember when Stephen was using one of his firs Acuerate cues a couple of years ago he spoke about it being of low deflection so i think they have been using this concept for at least a couple of years also.

I don't really like it.... Each to their own :snooker:

About the logo--that little crosshair thing--is that just a sitcker, a piece of inlay, an engraving, or what is it?

Personally, I would prefer to see just ebony and maple, with no yellow veneer, and no cross hair on the front splice.

But it is just personal preference.

All the best to Mr. Hendry, hope to see him doing his magic on the green baize with this new magic wand soon.

Is that curly maple or just plain maple splices? Thanks.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Why is it I got it in my head that someone said he's using a parris again. I can't keep up

Defo not a Parris caz. For me it's nice to see someone like Stephen using a cue that has not been made by one of the so called best cue makers. We have more choice at a fraction of the cost !
