I still think he could do it. I think he's still got the game all he needs is a easy draw and then for something to click in the later rounds and it could all come good I don't think he would be playing in the PTC's if he didn't believe that

This Acuerate cue is retailed at 545 Euro, which is about 500 GBP.

There goes the "fraction of the cost" theory out the window

What people dont understand is Even if you Pay £300-£600 for a Cue it isnt Expensive really if you look after it as it will last a Lifetime! And if you look at Other Sports like Golf 1 Club Cost you more than that!!

Why dont you try a bit of door to door cue selling?

Ah hello sir, could i ask do you play snooker?

                      *slams door in face*

Just pop a TW through his letter box and ask him to call you when he has a bash with it.

Surely he knows what he's doing though. he must think they are as good as anything or he wouldnt play with it would he? Or are they paying him bucket loads?

snooker players know about playing snooker - other than dominic dale none of them know anything about cues - thats why we laugh when people want to buy the same cue as a pro etc etc.

Makes you wonder! People often criticise Parris for supposedly giving players free cues but to my knowledge he has never paid or forced anyone to use his cues, he has his reputation because he's the best cue maker in the country and history and current pros using his cues proves that.
Hendry should never have given up on his Parris cue that he won the British Open with beating Ronnie in the final and hitting 5 tons in the process. He's never played anywhere near that since and basically done nothing with his acuerate.
