Airin, Yep that was what I was referring to with the original post, which cue makes you think 'how on earth is that made'
Ive seen pics of that cue, multi spliced and jaw dropping.
The upside down spliced cue by Trevor is another, takes some time to work out how he has done that.
Airin, you ever considered a 3 spliced cue? I thought at first it may be tough to get the bottoms lined up but I guess one splice at a time it wouldnt be hard at all.

It was a cue commissioned by Crispian. I cannot find the pictures unfortunately.

I would like to have a cue made where the butt was made of Glass! yes glass, although I know this is not practical as glass is very heavy. I suppose that you could make it out of some kind of clear resin or plastic. Maybe even put a blue light in it and when you where losing could use it as a light sabre like they do in star wars to take your opponent out.

The following butterfly spliced cues by the late Paul Fanelli just blew my mind:
This was my first attempt at alternate splices. This cue was completed about 16 months ago.:-)
For me it was the hardest design at the time.

Airin, The Paul Fanelli cues are amazing.
How is that done? Are they actual splices or inlays?
I think it is even harder to splice with accuracy with such small splices.
Different class altogether.
You must have been pretty chuffed with how the alternate splice cue turned out. Its a good buzz eh when something goes right.
