Dragon Cues shouldn't be included anywhere near a best of list. I played pool for Wales for years and have probably seen 20 Dragon Cues up close. Don't get me wrong there are some nice ones but I have also seen 3-4 dogs. The joints seem to go bad quick, the finish isn't great and I have seen a couple that are really bent and a friends cue where the butt was almost square (his girlfriend chose it). The good ones I have seen are when someone has gone to his place, tried out all the cues and picked the best one available. Decent enough cue maker but not consistent enough to be classed at the top of his profession IMO.
Yep i found them hit n miss.

I like Will Hunt and Robert Osborne, they both make perfect splices and build nicely balanced cues which play very well. I have one cue of each for many years now and both are superb. Dunno if Will is still building cues, but Robert certainly does.

      Regards, Tom.

Gbl cues are top draw but if your after a english made cue in no particular order and I don't think anyone would disagree your talking trevor white, mike wooldridge, robin cook and dave coutts I would say are the 4 stand out cue makers.

Will is building, but not from scratch, he buys the cues to his specs and finishes them himself.

Of course you can, if you can afford to stand up in court and back that up.
Which is the way it should be, you can't just say something damaging to a mans livelyhood with no foundation.
If you are certain that what you say is true, then you wouldn't be worried about legal action would you?

I believe that Will has the cues made completely to his spec as he has no facilities do any work on cues.
I doubt Parris does this, or buy in part made cues, or should I say I sincerely hope not...

Quote from Dave coutts: Will Hunt cues are part made to Will's specifications and then finished off by Will himself.

From wills website: In line with many other UK cue makers Will Hunt employs highly skilled craftsmen to part make the cues overseas
Following a rigorous selection process with a significant number being discarded and using only the best grade the cues are then completed and finished in London by Will himself
