  • I must admit I've had my "MW" for over 14 years and it's still probably the best cue I've used, I don't think it was that expensive at the time.

    • I wouldn't swap my MW shark, perfect balance and feel

      • Wooldridge is a decent cue maker but also he's excellent at marketing his products especially his premium cues

          • Who do you think will be the best cue maker in ten years time when those like john Parris, Trevor white and Co possibly no longer make cues. Will it be exquisite? Jason Owen? Crispian Jones?

            • Jason Owen & Crispian Jones, are two of the best cue makers at this time. but in ten years? ?? ( ((difficult question)) !!! I think we need Andrew Or Hotpot for answer to this question. !!! . some new cue makers who come from Thailand or China in future would be probably much more than UK .. but in my opinion UK cue makers and UK players are the best in the world. or that still remains the same after ten years????

It will be hard to define best cuemakers in ten years time,it will normally boil down to who's going to be more popular at the time,it only takes a few members to start a trend on a cuemaker and many then jump on the wagon.
You say jason Owen & crispian jones but I'm sure many players who use their cues would say they are the best they have used and rate them the best today. It will always come down to personal preference and not just who's making the cue.

you have only got to look at some of Andy Travis work they look a hell of a decent cue,yet why haven't everyone jumped on his cues,it's defiantly not down to him making a useless cue because he makes a decent cue. IMHO it seems the trend these days is to wait 2 years for a cue wether you play any better with it or not at least you can say my grain looks better then your grain

                • Trevor is still quite young so he could still be making them in ten years time if he want , the same goes foe Mike . Theres plenty of makers who i would class as world class , Crispian , Jason , Andy , and a few others , perhaps Dan Shelton may make a come back

I can tell you from experience that the exquisite i use is the best cue i have ever played with, wouldn't swap for anything.
