Hi all ,I have a single piece cue just handed down the family line with the following info on it.

the cue itself has 17B lightly embossed on it
Iam trying to obtain more information below & have searched the net quite a bit.
1) what does the 17B designate , weight ? batch etc ?
2) 6 million dollar question = any idea of cost for insurance purposes ( the cue is pretty true but probably does not have the original tip even though I have spares in a small case) The cue is actaully in a metal conical case (with some knocks) but possibly not an original from when the cue was purchased.
3) date of manufacture ?
Please dont ask if I am willing to sell it, as no this is too valuable in sentimental terms to sell
Any information you have would be very much appreciated & If you do not know all the information is there anyone who could put me in touch with who might know?
