How do you take care of your cue. I have read several cue makers website but just like to know your personal preference on taking care of your precious cue. Saw steve davis video on youtube and he said that his cue is about 40 years old which is really amazing.
I lived in asia and the temperature is about 30-45 deg celcius. My room temperature is maybe around 20-30 deg cel.
I put my cue in a leather box made of woods (cheap one) and put a linseed oil once a month. I put linseed oil and hang my cue for half a day before I wipe it with a dry cloth.
I've just ordered a mastercue (connoiseur) and I told them not to put any vaneer or lacquer on the shaft. I know that the vaneer is use to protect the woods but I just dont like the feel of it on my bridge. Any suggestion on taking care this type of cue.
Sorry my poor english.
