Hi Guys,
A few members of my club have old maple shaft cues (one is an e.j riley diamond, the other I cannot make out), which appear to have a visual 'ring' affect around the shaft. I can only think that the shafts were made of curly maple but I could be wrong! Could it just be the ageing process?
Anyway, I think it looks nice, and was wondering if cues are still made this way (I haven't see any) or if it is possible to get a custom? Thanks.
