Does anyone know if he's actually had the butt extended or is he using a modified sd extension as a longer butt piece? Seems strange that a cue maker would extend the butt by just glueing a piece of ebony to the end, i know its a parris cue, when my cue had the butt extended by parris cues it was done by splicing 4 pieces of ebony to the butt to lengthen it. The butt on mine is just plain black ebony so its hard enough to see the splices unless under a table light.
The fact that the badge on his butt is about 4 inches higher than it should be suggests its either a glued on piece of ebony or a modified sd short butt extension.
Was watching a vid la few days ago on youtube and at one point white had to use the sd telescopic extension and from what i could see the cue looked slightly shorter as if he had taken the butt piece off to use the longer extension.
