Advice about a new cue

Dear friends,

I would like to ask your advice about a new cue. I am not beginner in pool, but I am beginner in snooker. I did not have any cue so far and as I am willing to play regularly I would like to buy a fairly good cue. So I would like to ask you what kind of cue requirements you think are the most important. What about the tip diameter, the ferrule and the shaft etc....

Welcome to the forum muck , there is plenty of choice out there just to name a few on a lower ende budget , Craftsman , Mastercraft , Mastercue , GBL , Phoenix , Omin , U T . All will do the job and allow you to play all the shots and are very well made . Cue specs are totally an individual thing , is there anywhere you can go to try a few friends cues out to see which you prefer .
