Bargain John Parris Exclusive cue

I know the guy who bought this cue, old guy in his 70's too embarrased he got ripped off to complain, he's even thinking about emailing John Parris to double check it's not one of his earlier works!
Strange cue though, has a band around the cue saying john parris exclusive which seems to be a transfer of some sort, but the badge looks like an old cannon badge has been stuck in a whole too big for it, and the bottom half doesn't even match the top, or vice versa for that matter!
Think i'm going to do him a trade for one of my old cues, just feel so sorry for him.
We really need to keep on at ebay about these con artists, we pay them enough in fees!

At 1st I thought the tip was between 8.5 - 9mm. Pictured the oval tip in my mind's eye.
