  • Best bargain you ever found

Just to make us all green with envy what was the best bargain cue you ever found ? a John Parris at a boot sale ! a Mike Wooldridge at your local charity shop ! maybe a hand me down from a long lost Uncle ! I purchased a 1980 Riley Burwatt for £5 at a local boot sale after a clean oil and buff It looked like brand new its a beautiful cue with the most amazing shaft that is 100% straight the guy even threw in the old tin case this I cleaned and re-painted it think I got a bargain.

I brought a Horace Lindrum EJ Riley Tombstone cue for £3 at a boot sale, when I got it in the car and had a closer look it had Horace's signature and best wishes on the shaft.

Then there was the time I picked up 70 cues including BW champions and many more from a closing down working mens club for £400.

I could go on all day..........Oh it was joy about 5 years ago, old cues were everywhere

Agree with that! Must have been the couple of cold winters we've had, I think they've burned them for fuel!
