Matt you will get varying opinions , personally i dont like them for me they feel wood like and sound awful . No doubt someone will say the complete opposite . There is only one way to find out and thats try it . I have put three different tips on in two days since i took a chunk out of my mastercue tip .

Matt i used to use these and found they give a lot of reaction
on the cueball and they play very well indeed. They are a hard
pressed tip and feel a little bit like the Wooldridge super tip to me.
I now use Phoenix medium laminated and love them i will be keeping
these on my cues from now on. They are very consistent and hold
      there shape very well.

I personally did not like them . Started off great but seemed to go very hard after a while . Seemed to throw the white .

Yes the Pro Granite are very hard and do sound like you havent a tip on at all...lol But its Personal Preference really I didnt like them as I found the Talisman Soft/Medium were better but you may like these. The Kamui are also very hard to you play them in I found the Kamui Soft played the Best and sounded ok but didnt last long at all and at around £8 a Tip not the best so I tried the Medium Kamui but didnt feel right to me so Took it off.

Matt just keep trying Tips til you come across the Tip that suits you as thats the only way your going to find the Correct one for You, As what suits me may not suite you good luck m8.

          Gaz.

Felt like having a bit of granite on the end of your cue, hence the name! not for me at al, far too hard and not enough in the way of feel, put a Wooldridge Super tip on and will never use anything other as it's utterly superb!
            One day I'll make a century, I've knocked in a 51!

Neil it may take 3-4 Tips to find a Good Elk or Blue Diamond these days as its Not Rare for me to Take 2-3 Tips off til I find a good one.

Have you tried Talisman Soft Neil? I think you may have to give it a few more months before considering if its the Cue or Not and get as much Practice as you can with the New Cue.

I did think to myself you wouldnt have this Cue 3 Months thou....lol

i to have tried these tip and agree with the majority,i didnt like these tips. found i was getting much more grip with an elk or tally. i have a phoenix mh on my cue at the min which plays much better than a pro granite. will be going back to the kamui though as it gives a much better feel.

i use them and quite like them, harder than elks or diamonds but have always preferred the harder tip. shapes easy, holds chalk well and needs minimal work done on it once its on.

Hi Matt, I wrote a thread on this when I first got mine, when it first went on I was not impressed at all but after a short bedding in period a lot shorter than with an elk, I have been really impressed and gets better and better with each session. Well worth the cost i would say but I am not an expert hope this helps.
