just wondered what matthew stevens cue spec was? as from the pic looks like he uses a small cue?

The photo seems to be taken from quite an awkward (read deceptive) angle so hard to tell.

The Master Cues replica (M6) is available in two specs 58.25", 18.25 oz, 9,5mm or 58", 18", 10mm.

I have no idea if either is authentic though...

Yes Master Cue have made Matthew Stevens Replica Cue for Many years but there not the Exact Specs matthew uses just the Design of the Cue.

Matthew Does use less than a 9mm Tip as if you look at Matthews Ferrule and Wood near Ferrule you can see whats been happening for many years running Sand Paper around Tip/Ferrule causes this affect.

yep gazza it always looked as if his ferrule had become tapered from shining it, i think he may have had it replaced once before at least from this.

I was chatting to Matt last week about his cue actually because there seems to be a gap on the joint, we had a closer look and it just does not align properly, he said it has always been like that.

He has also had some work done on the cue at the time I was not particularly bothered about what work he had done but I will ask him when I see him next.

I believe that his cue is a Hunt and O'Bryne that got damaged and David Gray took it to Robert Osborne to have the butt repaired and re-spliced .

Can someone please tell me what's the best way to have my ferrule shine again? I was thinking about using sandpaper but then I learned about the risk of it affecting the shaft...
