Hi,
I have two King Cues in one piece and 5 Duke Cues in 3/4, -- honestly they make John Parris & Co look like cheap club rack cues and don't just take my word for it, Mike Russell the World Billiards Champion uses one, as do most Indian Billiard Players and quite a few main tour players, I might sell one King Cue and two Dukes. The LP cues carry a hologram and a bar code you can check the type of cue you have on their web site. I have been to their factory a few times now and so has Stan Mullins who is also on this forum, Stan is supplying the One Klick joints for their Butt Extension inserts. To appreciate the work they put into their top cues you must see their factory, they are also as far as I know the only cue maker anywhere in the world that buys coppice grown sporting ash by the container load, King & Duke cues have ash that has been stored for at least 50 years. Their Club Cues are good for what they are, well made but wont suit the enthusiast, but again they cost like 25 pounds ?? however any LP cue of T,R,S -01 Standard or his Professional which sell for 6800 - 12800 RMB about 450 + pounds are as good as any cue from any maker, the difference between these and the Duke & King Cue is simply in the material, i.e. blacker ebony, better grained and aged ash, and for the King Cue totally hand made, every Duke I have has that lovely aged patina. The better your cue action and skill level the more you will appreciate the LP cues.
