Making a flat butt into a round butt

Does anyone know if any cue makers will alter a cue to turn a flat butt into a round butt?

I used Green Baize to do one of my cues. I believe Stu sends them off to someone to do this.

I think any cue-maker can do this for you

Each cuemaker will be different.

I would estimate a tenner.

ide give it jaffa lol all depends what wood your splicing with if you want only the 1 splice or if you want it splicing all round

Depends where you are in the country ......Robert Osborne changed my flat to a round .

As I said, it depends which cue maker which is in essence the same as where in the country you take it.

To change a current flat / make a round butt into a chamfer this would be around a tenner in my experience. I have had cues done like this at Robin Cook.

If you want / have to have a new front splice added then this will differ. Robin Cook charges £27, craftmans charge around £15.

Equally others will charge different amounts.

which is near as dam it putting on 1 front splice so depending how the butt already looks depends what he has done,ie if cue already as 4 lowere splices
