    Anyone ever owned/seen an ash cue with wenge splices?

    Or do any of the cuemakers here use it at all?

    This was the very first wood I used on cue butts.It can look good but I found it difficult to work with as it was very hard and prone to the odd splinter.

              i really like the look of this in a full butt and actually prefer the look of it to macassar i think because of the tighter grain

              does anyone else think the same?
