Anyway, you're wrong on both counts:
- It's original artwork
- They're not tips (but watch this space)

Thanks Will
hm...?
1. not tips? cases for tips (from the perceived scale of the photo they look too small for that)
2. not badges?
3. new artwork?
4. lids of oil bottles (same as 1)
hm...?
the suspense!

Either way they are nice because like Mike, my real name has the same initials. Don't know why I've only just cottoned on to that fact, it was seeing the MW on that pic that caught my eye. Looks like I'll have to try out a cue of Mikes some time this year.

My only concern with the new blackspin ferrules is its durability. Mike does indicate its durable as brass but i am not convinced. What about replacing old tips, i normally use a stanley knife to remove the old tip, but with the new blackspin ferrule i would be scared to use a stanley knife in case i accidentally cut a piece of the ferrule off.
Do you need to sand the surface of the blackspin ferrule before fitting on a new tip ?? Lastly if you do get some glue on the sides of the ferrule what is the best way to remove it ??

i have loads of times.
i'm really not sure why people are so worried about other materials when brass is soft and easily damaged
treat it same way as brass, or any ferrule come to think of it. carefully, and you will have no problems.
