in fact, i have never been so comfortable with my jointed cues as i am now, given that i am a lifelong 1pc man and would always recommend 1pc if possible.

that's changing now though. i believe the transmission of 'energy' through the cue is much closer to 1pc than ever before.

Click on the 'Reply with quote button' and then cut & paste the [QUOtE-In brackets] and put the required text in then end with [QUOtE]It is a lot of messing about and helps if you put the page you are quoting from on another page in your browser to go back to.

A lot of times you don't need to quote at all because it is obvious to what your answer refers to and I can't understand why the first or second to post an answer quote the OP's post? What is the point?

at the risk of repeating myself, this is not an ordinary ferrule. it cannot be fitted without the necessary equipment and, most important, knowledge.

for the foreseeable future, i will be the only person installing this on cues.

Plus the cost of getting it there.

I'm sorry mike, but even if the ferrule was made of gold I wouldn't pay that kind of money. As a product on a new cue range there is no doubt you will sell a few to the ppl looking for something to make them play better. The same way the accurate and gravity cue have. As an item that ppl will fit to their existing cue I just don't see it generating much business at £75 plus postage both ways.

Well Mike has had my cue for two weeks and as it has not come back yet I suspect he has more work coming in than going out and there are plenty like me who are willing to part with the money to have it done

this is not my 'store front'. i've never discussed my prices or business in general on this forum, and that includes doing business via pm.

i have an online shop where anyone is welcome to view further details including prices. providing they register (which shows me a level of genuine interest, whether they buy or not, and that they're not just time wasting nosey parkers who want to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse before 'disappearing' without so much as goodbye, thanks for your time.

unfortunately, i have not yet settled on a final version, but i have been fitting various re-incarnations to recent customers cues.

however, i forgot to keep a record of who had what, and have therefore, confused myself unnecessarily...

I gotta agree with Cazmac I would Never Pay that amount either for a new Ferrule as you can Buy £1000-£2000 Cue but doesnt mean you are Guaranteed to Improve your game with it. As I tell people all the Time you could have £1000-£2000 Cue but if you have a Crap Tip on it you wont Play well at all and wont see the difference in a Cheap Cue!
I have beaten Frends/Players who have £1000-£2000 Cue with a Club Cue....lol... Its because People think if they Buy the Best they will be the Best or Become the Best! Thats Nonsence as we know your Cue is Not intirely to Blame it could be your Tip, Your Technique etc etc and some people are Naturally Gifted Like Ronnie and some will only get to a Certain Standard and Stop!

Im Not knocking your Ferrule System Mike as I havent Tried it! I would Love to Try it if it was Cheaper! I personally like you alot as you have always been very very helpful to me and your Products are Great: Tips, Cues, Cue Towels etc, Its just Me Personally wouldnt Pay that amount for Blackspin Ferrule if it was £15-£20 Yes but Not that amount but I do wish you well with it Mike ok.
