Lol, a single front splice in whatever he had I'd be interested to see what turns up, sounds nice though. He works so fast mine was with me in under a week! Although that was a while ago, I think he's reputations built up a fair amount since then

If you're half as happy with your Travis cue as I am with mine...then you will be over the moon...Stuffed my mate 8-0 today with loads of high 30 breaks...and wasn't really trying...love my Travis cue, and when I purchase a new one...(don't tell her indoors) it will be another Andy Travis. Quality workmanship, great balance, nice stiff shaft...and he knocks them out as quick as you like....and best of all...very reasonably priced....What more can you ask for???

Looks real nice ! what was the spec ? If I ever ordered another Andy Travis think I would go with a real contrasting inlay I have the plain ebony model.

just been to the club for a quick knock so i will write a small review.

when i unpacked the cue i was amazed how solid the cue felt the weight is very well distributed through the whole cue it just feels solid from top to bottom. i will be honest i wasnt expecting it to be this good i have put it next to my ultimate maple and the only difference in the cues i would say is the quality of the materials. the maple shaft on the travis as some blemishes and those dark brown lines you get it maple and its more golden yellow like a old maple shaft where my ultimate is perfecty unmarked pure white maple. to be honest i prefere the travis i like the blemishes and little marks that make a cue unique. the splicing is very good so is the finish the african blackwood as turned out very nice it as more grain than ebony with browns running through it for a new cue it as a lot a character. the ferrul is fitted well as is the badge cant feel it as all all in all i am very happy with the cue i would say its more for the player than the poser a proper players cue. i will be using andy again and fully recommend him to anyone wanting a well made snooker cue.

sorry i didnt post specs 58in long 10.5mm tip 30mm butt 18.5oz in weight and all specs are pretty much bang on. the only thing i would have liked is the splices to be a little longer he only splices the butt 18in long where i do perfere a 20in butt.

Could you please do some more photos of the cue in daylight if possible? From what I can see it looks great but I would love to see more of it please.
