An Ambassador you say? /scratches chin

Wasn't aware the ambassador cue had a maple veneer on it or a face splice..

That look's like it has to be a fake to me. I mean who would put the tip size as 8.5 to 9mm? And of course the obvious that the cue designs completely wrong. They do say it's a 'custom' ambassador, however I've never seen a 'custom' one before.

                    • Never seen them put a plate on like that before , but that's not saying they haven't .

The issue for me is the extension . The Joint is not an H & O Joint . But could have been added afterwards .

Tho only way to find out is to ask Robert himself .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                      • As well as the dodgy name plate, base joint and extension, the ferrule looks too long, the cue isn't rounded at the base typically like most H&O cues are, and who ever added the nameplate misspelled Osborne.

                            • Dear reddwarfer,

Well there is no explanation other than it is probable NOT Hunt & Osborne which one might want it to be.

                              Dear mally147,

How do you explain the fact that the "cuemakers" surname is mis-spelt on the cue badge?!

                              • I also questioned the name spelling. This is what I sent / got back . . . sounds like it's an M.P. selling LOL

                                Dear mally147,

Are you aware that there is no such cue maker as "Hunt & Osbourne" ?

It's "Hunt & Osborne" with no letter "u".

He never made cues with miss-spelled badges . .

                                Answer :-

Thankyou I mearly said that was what was written on the butt.

bullsh1t ! he "mearly" tried to pass it off as a Hunt & Osborne.
