  • Cuewatch dont get ripped off

    http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=150917860034&globalID=EBAY-GB

This guy who was flogging dodgy traditionals now has this for sale. And as usual a high volume of bids on it.

Might be but considering the seller and the magic amount of bids (a trend with every cue he's sold) I'd steer we'll away from it.

        • if you look at bidding the first time bidders have took the price up they could be friends doing it ,the bidders with stars against are prob real bidders

I've owned a JP superior cue and indeed the badge was a light ivory colour rather than a white.... Can you always tell a fake from a bright white badge?

Yes, JP badges tend to be creamy white, if you see one with a bright white badge, look closer all round.

                      • I know nothing about cues but the sellers has zero feedback and been a ebay member since 13-Dec-11. Alarm bells are ringing.

                        I personally wouldn't risk it.

A JPU of this number range would be about 7 years old, so if it was a pros' cue then some wear could happen. The badge does look ok but as been stated above, 0 rating, an ebay "member since: 13-Dec-11 in United States", and 22 bids in 2days ?
If it does sell, I have a feeling that it will probably appear back on ebay in the near future

                          • the shaft doesn't look like an ultimate in my opinion and also the splices don't match the bottom ones and as a fact the guys is from Dallas area , they don't even have a 12ft table in that side of Texas plus "The cue I bought off a semi professional player around 3 years ago when I was snooker mad " ...it makes me laugh , not even a snooker table on the 200 miles radius , how about a semi pro )))

                            • Anyone got an opinion on this ? I don't know enough about the older cues, but never seen this font on the badge , not to mention machine splicing . . .

Everyone seems happy with their fossil purchases anyway . . .
