Nicely spotted
This cue is not right either, badge is wrong and no veneer on front splice (unless of course it's one version i have never seen before !)

LOL look at the state of it, even the badge looks wrong, font is totally different from what it should be.

The Badge looks to pristine although the screws look old and used I am no expert but it just dont look right.

The big thing missing from the badge is the 3 x letters "Ltd" Should it not say Burroughes & watts Ltd ?

Never seen that type of badge, unless it is an older cue, maybe that also covers the joint, maybe JP used them for a short period?
