  • Ronnie's burwat pre-1997 cue

I was wondering, what are detailed dimensions of Ronnie's first cue? The cue that he used to win the 1993 UK Champ and made the fastest 147 with?

I'm looking at the old clips on youtube. When down on the shot and feathering, the high joint is touching his chin?!

    http://youtu.be/ozhhPXE07Zk at around 4:07 onwards.

from what i heard it was like most bw champions cue it was (soft) a bit wippy, parris cut it down, shorten the shaft to make it stiffer and spliced the butt to give lenght, jointed throught the fingers to help with the cue balance, and it was 8.5 when he knocked in the quickest max ever. the guy who had the snooker heritage room at the world championships gave ronnie a grand for the cue....

I though he made his fastest max in 97. As for the cue, I haven't actually got a clue. :snooker:
