Yes jim, ebony and padauk, oiled it this morning and the padauk has darkened slightly to great effect.
Another round badge for this cue, fit the mini butt joint and its done.

Thought I would put this in here as well as the pics thread, to keep Jasons work altogether...

Just got back from the Hospital, visiting my Father-In-Law to find my New Jason Owen cue #71 had been delivered- who says good deeds don't get rewarded !

Curly Maple & Ebony, alternately double spliced, if that makes any sense.

This came from Jason via Mike Wooldridge, who surpassed himself by fitting BlackSpin in a very quick turnaround time.

I am yet to use it, but it certainly looks and feels the part, have to dust off my Kirk Stevens white suit off now !
