How do you straighten a cue ?

Nope, had a eureka straightened a whiole back and its still straight.

no but then wood is a natural product it will bend when and where it wants.

Wood bends because it dries out more on one side. Natually, wood contains about 1/3 water in the dry state, it's not completely dry as folk often think. If you bend the cue as adr147 says, it may bend back over time; it has a mind of it's own. Another way of bending a cue or anything made of wood, is to 'water it' on one side. Hold the cue up to your eye, and check where the bend is. Mark the length of the bend with some blue or white tack, tape or whatever. Stand the cue up, and rub a tiny drop of water down the mark so that the wood is wet, but not dripping. Let it dry. The wood on the bent side will expand and push the cue out in the opposite direction. Do this a few times daily until the bend has disappeared. It works with all wood products and you don't have to worry about snapping the cue with too much force as per bending it with the hands. It it bends again, water it again.
