  • LP Cues by Luos

    Hi guys n gals,

    Does anyone know anything about these cues? I found these guys on e-bay and must admit they look pretty good, but looks can be deceiving. Just wondering if anyone has any info on these, good or bad? Here's the link so you can check them out if you like.
    Thanks

    Hi, my only advice is to be cautious! There are many fake cues coming out from China and Hong Kong. There are even people there copying their own homegrown cuemaker(LP)products. I'm not saying that this particular LP cue is a fake, you just need to be careful. In any case, the lower range of LP 3/4 cues are fitted with brass joints, the higher range ones are fitted with stainless steel joints.

    Pls check out the LP site: http://www.ts-lp.com/lang-en/items

    Hope this helps and good luck

      Hi,
      Thanks for the advice, I think I'll steer clear of these. I really don't want to spend money on a fake.

        I'm sure somebody said these cues have a hologram attached to deter counterfeiters. Try the search function mate.

          Luck1au is selling them on Aussie ebay but you might need to do an advanced search. The seller certainly sounds like he knows what he's on about and the cues look like the better models from LP. They have a few kinds of joints, some with stainless steel, others have a brass joint that looks like the John Parris joint. And yes some have been pictured with the holo sticker.

          here's one of his cues;

          I haven't seen any of these in person though.

            Ugly looking Badges thou arent they!!....lol

            There is always going to be plenty of Counterfeiters out there if its Not Cues it Phones and so on been going for Many of Years and I dont think it will ever Stop!

            The Only Way to Make it more Differcult is doing something like John Parris did with Ultimates with Numbers so he can keep record and then you could check up alittle on the Number, And also Mike Wooldridge with his Joints as not many can Copy that Joint.

            Gaz.

              I think they're ok. But it's good to see something a bit different and reflecting the maker's culture.
