Yes he's said it himself that his obsession with cues took over, but in recent times he's been trying to concentrate on his game more and trying to stick with one cue & it seems to have been working as he's climbed the rankings quite nicely. I suppose being a great player and having a passion for cues can be a bad combination, regardless though he does what he does and seems happy with it all, so thats all that matters really.

It was only a few years ago,I seem to remember he threw his cue out of the crucible window( at a great height!) after losing a first round match....I can vaguely remember it,about 10 years ago or so ,anyone else remember?

agree with you guys, but that's what he like to. Anyway as a professional player he should know keep changing cues is not good for his performance.
