  • Exquisite Cues Scotland

I'm just back from picking my 'Exquisite Cue', and all I can say is the top 16 better beware of TheBallBreaker in next seasons Scottish amateurs!!!

I had the choice of around a dozen cues and every single cue was as nice as any cue I have ever seen. Over the years I have played with Parris Cues, Will Hunt cues, Osbourne Cues (you name it), and I can safely say these are a match for any make of cue and at a steal at the price.

Can't wait to start floating about the baize with it! and get back to hitting regular 20 breaks

I bought one myself a few weeks ago they are first class. and Raymond was great to deal with even though i sent him a text in the middle of the night when i was half pixxed it was a steal at the money.

Haha, he is a class act and real genuine guy.

He has a great eye for detail! and very meticulous about his work. He used to do John Higgins' tips when he played in the Masters many moons ago.

Cue needs a few adjustments! It's just a plain ebony butt jointed cue!
Pics will be up soon as!

Looks lovely mate, nice shaft! My Exquisite cue arrived yesterday and the finish is great isn't it? I'll do a little review like this when I get a spare few minutes

Best cue I've owned. Looking forward to seeing yours. Where do you play?

If you don't mind me asking how much did you both pay for your cues? What would you say in terms of stiffness is the shaft?

My shaft is very stiff, as it is it a 9.75mm tip on the cue the shaft is slightly thicker than it would be if I asked for a 9mm. I paid £150 for my cue and picked it up so no postage etc. He has cues from £150 - £200 i think (depending on splices, etc).

Ok thanks for that. Sounds like the perfect cue at a good price. I might be interested in one of these if he can guarantee a very stiff shaft in 1 piece cue.

Mine is 1 piece ash with a ebony butt and a front splice of padduk with a thick maple veneer, I paid £195 including postage but I think mine was one of three originally made for the Pro Anthony McGill so that may have meant I paid a little extra. Either way I believe it was good value for money as it's defiantly the best cue I've ever played with. Will get some better pictures asap but for now here's one, it's the one on the left, the other is Anthony's playing cue at the moment: http://s1170.photobucket.com/albums/...rent=image.jpg
link to shaft, also the one on the left: image2.jpg

To be honest I hadn't even bought it to use as my playing cue, just fancied another cue, but now I have it I'm going to be using it. The shaft is a really golden colour with 7 lovely arrows right up to the tip and the splice points are all perfect.
