change to butt diameter????

Is it possible to increase your butt diameter? forgive me if this sounds a bit stupid but how would they do it if it can be done

Could probably be done by adding more splices to the butt of the cue, pretty costly though for a couple of mm difference. Would also increase the weight some.

easy if its a 3/4 cue a bit more difficult for a 1 piece
