this is the only thread where I can find, that remotely talks about the fonts of the Parris badge... and are in no way conclusive, so in the end the only way to confirm, is to email the man John Parris himself....

I bought it from fedia/andrei and I bought the David gray from you Andrew, both are genuine. I am not fedia/andrei either as I live in Northampton not London and I'm English. I just used some of the photos from his listing and some that I took myself that aren't as clear as I took them on my phone. Anyway speak to John parris he will confirm its genuine. I paid £1150 off fedia and that's what I want back for it thats why I added the best offer option also there was eBay and PayPal fees to think about. Mark62 and Steve Clarke have played snooker with me in northampton and can confirm I am not fedia!!Last edited by rob s; 12 May 2012, 04:55 PM.77 in a match, 97 in a line up

Hand on heart I'm paying for the perfection of the grain and sometimes the history like the 294 I got off ADR. Also with the earlier ultimates especially 1s made for a pro its likely to have been made by the man himself. And even though its sad to say this but I am paying for the badge to a certain extent....77 in a match, 97 in a line up

hi rob s, so you are the owner of the cue in question on ebay? If so, so that you have already confirmed with John Parris before you bought that cue that it, in fact is geniune?

Bloody hell this is like guantanamo bay for anyone selling an ultimate!!! Am I gonna be waterboarded next until I tell you everything I know lol. As I had mentioned in a thread before I have bought 3 cues from fedia 1 tony glover and 2 JPU all 1 piece cues, all 3 with cases and extensions cost me almost 3 grand. I just wanna say thanks for the few people with messages of support during this thread, if any of the eBay police on here want to come to my house to carry out a thorough search/inspection you a more than welcome.
