  • New Exquisite cue

Hi, yesterday my new Exquisite cue arrived, it's stunning. It's one piece ebony and ash with a single splice of padduk with a thick maple veneer. The shaft is really dark grained with 7 chevrons running up to the tip. It's not at all whippy but isn't over stiff either, it's somewhere between that and it's very nice. The finish leaves it silky smooth and the ebony is really dark. I had a practice with it yesterday and although I hadn't bought it for being my match cue and more due to the fact it was 1 of 3 tried out by the pro player Anthony McGill, I think I will be hanging up my lovely Andy Travis and turning to this cue as it truly is something special. It is well balanced and feels great, I was potting like never before. Raymond is a fantastic craftsman and a pleasure to deal with, he answered my constant line of questions quickly lol. For the price it is an amazing cue and one that I wouldn't think twice about buying again. I would recommend an Exquisite cue to anyone. It's specs are 58", 9.5mm tip, 18oz and it has a slim butt. Pics don't really do it justice.

Well there's Exquisite cues, Andy Travis, Jim Evans, Mac cues etc I imagine you can get a cue from any of these for under £200. If you have a little more there's Jason Owen. All of these have accounts easily accessible on here

Robin cook cues are get very good write-ups too, im going to be speaking with him in the next week to get my new cue ordered, he's already told me that it's a 14 month lead time though, but, I don't mind that.

Your right his cues are good, but he's not really much of a up and coming maker nor does he come under the cheap bracket Nevertheless his cues are up there with the best IMO :snooker: Ps: welcome to the forum
