Exquisite cue for Stephen Maguire!

Today Stephen just came too pick up his new
Exquisite Cue! It's a butt jointed maple with four cocobollo splices with
thin white veneer
Specs: 9.5mm,18oz,58"long,butt 28.3mm

Is this cue going to be his playing cue? Why did he switch to 3/4?

I wonder how many cues Stephen has now as I am sure Robin told me he was making enquiries for another cue to go with his current Robin cue.

Seems like a few players who are looking to change cues! Have to say I'm really surprised at Maguire though, thought he was playing very well with that Robin cue, as good as I've seen him for years. What type of shaft did he ask for Ray if you don't mind me asking? In fact what type of shaft do most pros ask for?

Stephen felt he was struggling with side with his old cue!
And felt he should try dropping in tip size from
Around 9.8mm back to 9.5mm and the taper is slightly thinner but not
too thin!
Will see how it goes!
