Must of been a big tap mate !! Plus you shouldn't do that anyway as your likely to put dents in the shaft, you should just blow it.
I imagine they will give you a refund if you have the receipt, but if its full of dents lol, they may deem you have abused the cue, i know i would

Snapped from a tap on the chair. It sounds very odd to me, buddy, let alone the seller...

      Good luck though...

Tap on a chair! Don't suppose you'd just playing lost before you tapped it lol.
Good luck getting your money back, I think you'll need it

My mate had a Parris Supreme (in fact he brought 2 at the same time, one slightly thicker tipped for snooker) he dropped 1 against a poil table, about a foot away from him...... Just a little tap to be honest.... Snapped straight in half about 2 inches below the tip, and split below it .. We Absolutely wet our selves.... Sure enough, .... Naaaaaah no replacement, £200 for a new shaft !! They were having none of it !! He got the ar£e and sold them both and got a custom Wooldridge, best cue I ve ever held !
