    • Yeh thats what he said last time I spoke to him, second week in April, been a pleasure dealing with stu as always and next time, if there's a next time I need a cue i will purchase through him, maybe a gbl who knows, now a gbl ultimate would certainly take a deposit from me!

I am waiting for a message from Stu he has a few new GBL cases coming in and that will be the end of those cases so kind of like a limited addition. They just cost him to much too have made.
That is very Nice, Les, GBL and maximus are Great playing cues. is a cue for life time. very good choice to buy them. For Stu is increasingly difficult to import cues. cost much more either ! !! So, what he does is not easy. He's a Great Guy to deal with. My brother always deals with him (if he needs something). I only hear good stories about him. I've never had the pleasure to talk with him. because I always deal with Mike Or Andrew. does'nt matter, because they are all Great guys. If I go to UK next time, maybe I'll go visit him (if he let me in!! haha). Anyway, I hope you enjoy your cue. once you have photos, let us see (if you have time). thanks.

                Here we go first photos
                GBL 3/4 C2 Ebony Butt
                56.5"
                9.5 mm
                30 mm butt
                18.5 oz

                GBL 1pc C4 Snakewood

I bought this off Kijiji the other day for a good price but to tell you the truth it does not compare to my GBL's could be the smaller butt. I think you will find it on here for sale soon.

wow!! Nice Shaft!! I've seen a few gbl cues. I do'nt know, but it seems their finish is much better than master cues and even maximus.

                  • I really researched the cues before I bought my first one and also I had been up to play at Terry Davidson's and he had a GBL. I think my John Parris is going to go. Never thought I would say that after waiting so long to find one but I love my GBL's

                    • Well yesterday I took a massive leap of faith. My usual playing cue was Jason Owen number 51. But after I was shown a mike wooldridge cue and it's shaft. I had to try it. In my mind you know what feels right. Even though I use plenty of cues just for fun from expensive to rack cues. I can safely say that mr wooldridge has done a good job on this one. Nothing fancy but the shaft is stiff. I've got a few big games coming up including national comp last 16. So I need to get some table time in. Still love my Dave coutts oak cue though. The Jason Owen cue has served me well and he did a great job. I've recommended him to so many people.

We'll see how this one goes. And I'll keep you updated.
                      Always a pleasure

the important thing is that it suits your game. I'wd keep JP (if you do'nt need the money). I think it is a dream of every snooker player to have a nice collection of any cuemaker.

MW also makes a great cue. I have tried Terry Davidson's and he has had many cues and always goes back to MW I use his Super Tips

That is what my son said you cannot just sell a JP. I think I will keep my eye out for one with a 30mm butt then I might be happier. Also my bridge arm was broke when I was 4 so I cannot straighten it so that is why my GBL's where made shorter. I know I could have my JP shortened but still the butt is only 29 mm. I will continue to shop.

                            • Not the best pic, but the cue which I'm currently using. Had about 10 cues in the last 2 years but keep coming back to it. Has 4 nice arrows towards the tip with one starting at the ferrule, tight straight side grain and a blank underside.
                              JP professional, spec 58" , 18.4 oz, 9.6mm. 17" BP

Very nice what is the butt size? I notice on the JP website you really do not have a choice unless you order one of his custom cues. They do not post any butt diameter on any other ones.
