dark mahogany wood as splices

Anyone have a cue made with dark mahogany?
What's the finish/feel like?

I vaguely remember it Jim yes, you are knocking cues out quite regular now ehh

not as much as i should but her indoors takes up a lot of my time lol did one for hotpot nacked up at end had to take 1 ins 1/4 of burnt the end polishing cue ,came loose on lathe ,well on the way doing another for him
